1. Where are you based?

We have 3 branches. We have our Derby branch 126 Green Lane, Derby. Our Burton

Branch at 149-150 High Street, Burton on Trent and we also run classes on a Tuesday at

Frank Wickham Hall in Etwall.

2. Can I pay cash for classes?

Not at the moment. We want to ensure payment safety for both parties, so all classes and

uniform are paid online through bacs or standing order. Classes need to paid for monthly in advance.

3. When do we need to buy uniform?

We allow dancers a month to settle into classes and then suggest that you purchase uniform.

We suggest starting with dance shoes first and then leotard, skirt, shorts etc. A guide to

uniform is in our handbook.

4. Where can we purchase uniform from?

You can buy uniform directly from us and at a cheaper price than online or in a dance shop.

We have an online form that will have been sent through with your welcome pack email.

It is also available on our google drive.

Complete this and an order will be placed once the item has been paid for.

Squad dancewear will need to be ordered straight through Squad.

5. How long does uniform take to arrive?

Uniform normally takes 1-2 weeks if in stock. If not in stock, we will inform you of delivery

date. Our Activated Industry uniform (Jackets, leggings etc.) is only ordered twice a year.

One order ready for Christmas delivery and then again for Easter time in readiness for

summer show. We do keep a few items in stock so please ask what we have available.

6. What if I want to add another class to my registration?

Speak to the receptionist who will agree it with our Principals and then you will need to complete an additional online registration form. Once that is complete we will add you to the register.

7. What if I want to stop a class?

We hope you would discuss with us before you do. However, we would like an email from

you to inform us of the class you wish to stop attending. This will be the date of your one

months’ notice. The class will be removed from your invoice once the month has concluded.

8. Do I have to pay when my child doesn’t attend?

Yes, the expenses for staff, rent, heating and lighting still must be paid for. We have ensured

The school has a parents committee that help with fundraising and events. Please ask our

reception about how to apply for DBS/chaperone licence if interested. There is a cost

involved if you do not already have a DBS/chaperone licence.

We do have several graded classes in ballet, tap and modern. We do also take exams in
