This was our very first show at Derby Theatre in 2018. Less than a year from opening we had 150 dancers celebrating UC Dance's beginning. It was an amazing first show with the theme of light and dark including music from War of the World and Frozen. It was a very busy first show  and there are some fab memories. 

We were due to hold our Summer show in July 2020 and the pandemic closed the school in March of that year. We decided that this wouldn't stop us and we held a 24 hour Danceathon to raise money for two charities close to our heart.

Finally our first live show after lockdown!

The venue had to change to Burton Town Hall and it was a fabulous venue. With 170 strong cast we danced to all of our favourite film tracks and had a fabulous time. The passion and energy from all of our dancers, staff and helpers was AMAZING!

 Our second show took place at Repton Theatre with dancers from all three branches taking part. The themes including land and sea. Exploring themes about the environment and fabulous popular songs including Finding Nemo and an audience participation section as we all danced to Baby Shark. A lovely venue with great memories. 

2021 started with the school and the nation in lockdown 3. With the help of the writer Zilah Dimmock we created an online pantomime for our dancers to perform. We again chose to raise funds for a local charity Children First. Our panto was a huge success and we were incredibly proud of our team!
